Film Review Tom Six's Human Centipede III: The Final Sequence 2013

Tom Six’s Human Centipede 3: The Final Sequence is the final instalment of the excrement obsessed trilogy. If you’re not familiar with the Human Centipede films here a little recap for you:

Film one:

A very intelligent surgeon kidnaps people to use in his sordid experiment. He wants to create a new sub-species; the human centipede. By placing three victims anus to mouth he creates an experimental operation to create an animal that has a single alimentary canal i.e. what goes in will come out; and go in and go out; back in and out again finally. With Faeces moving through three digestive systems, each victim gets a worse fate than the last.

Film two: A mentally unstable man decides to do the same but with twelve people. He is no surgeon just a security guard who lives with his abusive mother. He uses staple guns and duct tape so it’s a bit of a hash job He is obsessed with the first film in this second instalment and has a scrap book like the surgeon’s drawings in the film. He gets impatient with the process and uses laxative to initiate the digestive process. He also rapes the centipede from behind and takes advantage of the sordid and stinky situation.

The Human Centipede 2 was originally banned by the BBFC; they would not allow it to be legally purchased anywhere in the UK. BBFC director David Cooke stated how

“The chief pleasure on offer seems to be wallowing in the spectacle of sadism (including sexual sadism) for its own sake."

Entertainment Weekly broke the news that The Human Centipede 3 will have a “big American celebrity”, and this celebrity will be Eric Roberts. Alongside the previous villain’s played by Dieter Laser and Laurence R. Harvey returning for the third instalment, Bree Olson a former porn actress will be part of the final sequence There is very little detail on the plot but rumours of a 500 person centipede is doing the rounds. Well that will be one to watch.
